North Modesto Kiwanis club provides scholarships for graduating high school students to aid them in their college careers.
Goals
To encourage public or private high school graduates (within the boundaries of the Modesto High School District) to pursue education goals, preferably at a California community college, four-year college or university or at a technical/vocational school.
To recognize academic achievement and to invest in the future of young scholars. The North Modesto Kiwanis Club awarded $2,000 scholarships to 17 students for the 2024-2025 academic year. It is the hope of the North Modesto Kiwanis Club that recipients in their adult life will give back to their communities, including membership in a service club.
